Learn To: Classic Trapunto
Anita's Express
HOOP SIZE 5" x 7”
Trapunto, which is Italian for "to embroider," is a traditional quilting technique that involves several layers of batting to create a three-dimensional quilt block. The decorative stitches on top serve to highlight the raised areas to really make the design pop. The traditional Trapunto method is to stuff additional material through the back of the quilt to give it that same raised look, but at Anita Goodesign, we've come up with a way to make it easier than ever.
