Adult colouring books are all the rage right now. Turns out there are health benefits too! It has been said they improve focus and spur creativity. Just like embroidery, it allows us to “turn-off” from a busy day and calm our mind. Why not combine the two activities together to create a breathtaking project?

For our newest Mix and Match Quilting Collection, we have created something that is completely different from any of our other collections.

The Color Me With Stitches Collection consists of 20 different blocks that are combined together to create a unique quilt. The designs are all digitized with a hand-drawn style running stitch, creating a modern look. After the designs are embroidered you can add your own personal touch with fabric markers!

On the following pages we will tell you everything you need to know about creating this quilt including tips on painting fabric. We even include instructions on how to transform these quilt blocks into a binded book so that you can have your very own adult coloring book! No need to worry... Our tutorial covers all the details on constructing this part too.
